With a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Advertising from Metropolitan State University, Shannon has built a remarkable reputation for designing customized marketing campaigns and managing advertising productions for Fortune 100 companies, healthcare organizations, and government entities.

Her career reflects a unique blend of business acumen, creative innovation, and compassionate leadership. Shannon’s experience as an executive marketing and advertising consultant, published author and educator, Silver Telly Award winning and Emmy-nominated, A-list art department capabilities, and as a producer underscores her well rounded ability to craft compelling campaigns that resonate with audiences to drive results.

Deeply committed to improving lives, Shannon is also a certified Master Life, Health and Wellness, Executive, Spiritual, and Sobriety Coach. These certifications, coupled with her experience as a yoga instructor specializing in Adaptive Yoga, Trauma-Informed Yoga, Yoga Nidra, and Yoga for Anxiety, reflect her holistic approach to leadership, prioritizing well-being and resilience.

Zach Ruthven: Chief Business Development

Zach Ruthven, a retired Navy SEAL Captain, served 25 years in Naval and Joint Special Operations. Zach graduated from BUDS/SEAL training with Class 234 in 2001 and was a founding member of SEAL Team TEN. Over two decades, he has led operations in Afghanistan, Iraq, Europe, South America, and Africa, earning recognition for his leadership in high-stakes environments. 

Zach brings extensive leadership experience from his distinguished Naval Special Warfare career, where he served in roles ranging from Platoon Commander and SEAL instructor to Commanding Officer and Deputy Commodore. Renowned for his exceptional problem-solving skills, effective communication, and ability to build cohesive teams under pressure, Zach is poised to drive innovation in the telehealth industry.

He holds a Master of Arts in National Security and Strategic Studies from the Naval War College and a Bachelor of Science in Criminology from Florida State University. His awards include the Bronze Star with Valor, Meritorious Service Medals, Combat Action Ribbon and numerous other personal and unit awards.

Tara Cuccinelli: VP Health Strategy

Tara Cuccinelli, a U.S. Army Veteran, has been a RN for 24 years with a strong background in emergency and trauma nursing. She spent 9 years as an Army Nurse and completed one tour in Iraq where she was awarded the Bronze Star for her leadership and knowledge of emergency medicine. She spent 13 years in a Level One trauma center caring for both adults and pediatric patients. Tara then worked as a forensic nursing expert for three years. She is currently active as a school health consultant in Colorado.

Tara is the proud mom of five kids and enjoys spending time with them, most days. Most weekends you can find them in the gym watching and cheering one of the kids on at volleyball, wrestling, basketball, jujitsu or at the soccer field.

Tara holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from Bellarmine University and a Master’s of Science from the University of Colorado as a Clinical Nurse Specialist.

Dr. Kevin J. Cuccinelli, MD: Health Program Coordinator

Dr. Kevin Cuccinelli, a U.S. Army Veteran, is a board-certified family physician with over 25 years of experience in full-scope rural medicine, including inpatient, outpatient, and emergency care. He has been a dedicated practitioner since 1996, bringing comprehensive, patient-centered care to diverse populations.

Dr. Cuccinelli served in the U.S. Army, achieving the rank of Major and earning a Bronze Star as a Battalion Surgeon during Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2003. His military service honed his ability to provide critical care in challenging environments, reinforcing his commitment to accessible and effective healthcare.

Beyond traditional practice, Dr. Cuccinelli has extensive experience in healthcare leadership and telemedicine. As a former partner and medical director of a successful primary care practice, he worked remotely with his Nurse Practitioner partner who ran daily operations. Additionally, his ongoing pro bono telemedicine care for family and friends has provided him with deep insights into the benefits and limitations of virtual healthcare. Since 2001, he has also volunteered at a local homeless clinic, further demonstrating his dedication to community service.

Dr. Cuccinelli’s diverse background in medicine, leadership, business, and telemedicine positions him as a forward-thinking innovator in the future of virtual healthcare.

JoAnna McTevia: VP Behavioral Health Programs

JoAnna McTevia is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Licensed Addictions Counselor (LAC) with extensive experience serving veterans, first responders, and trauma survivors. Her clinical focus centers on complex trauma, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and co-occurring substance use disorders, particularly within military and frontline communities where exposure to trauma is often compounded by stigma, isolation, and a lack of culturally competent care.

Over the past decade, JoAnna has worked across behavioral health systems, courts, and military-connected organizations to provide trauma-informed, relationship-centered support. She is a Certified Brainspotting Practitioner and EMDR-trained clinician, recognized for her ability to hold space for those carrying the invisible weight of service. Whether addressing crisis response, reintegration, or moral injury, JoAnna approaches her work with deep empathy, cultural sensitivity, and clinical rigor.

Driven by a personal connection to the military through her own family, JoAnna brings both lived insight and professional expertise to her mission of supporting those who’ve served. Her work is rooted in honoring identity, restoring trust, and creating access to meaningful recovery.

As the founder of the Bodhi Battalion, JoAnna extends this mission through an innovative nonprofit that pairs veterans with purpose-bred service dogs. In this model, the dog is not just a tool—but a partner in healing. By training alongside their service dogs, participants build regulation, confidence, and connection in a process that mirrors the therapeutic journey.

Dr. David Somers, MD, MBA, FACEP: Veteran Program Coordinator

Dr. David Somers is a board-certified emergency physician, former U.S. Army Green Beret, and recognized leader in emergency medicine, trauma, and tactical medicine. He served as a Special Forces Medical Sergeant (18D) deploying on multiple combat missions and earning commendations for his expertise in austere and high-stakes medical care.

Following his military career, Dr. Somers earned his MD from LSU Health Sciences Center. He completed residency training in Emergency Medicine where he served as chief resident his last year of training. He has since held various roles in emergency departments across the Southeast, guiding multiple initiatives including trauma operations, clinical quality, and systems-based care. He also holds an MBA from Auburn University and an MS in Strength and Conditioning from the University of Florida.

Dr. Somers is passionate about advancing care for underserved and overlooked populations, particularly men facing silent health challenges. As the Director of Policies and Programs for RevTH, he brings deep clinical knowledge, operational precision, and a mission-first mindset to help redefine modern health for veterans and first responders, combining evidence-based medicine with the same commitment to readiness he carried in uniform.

Steven R. Switala, R.P.h: Pharmacy Liaison

Steve Switala brings over 31 years of pharmacy experience to the team, combining deep clinical knowledge with extensive leadership in various pharmacy settings. After earning his Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from the University of Minnesota, Steve began his career in hospital pharmacy, quickly rising to supervisor of a 325-bed facility.

From there, he launched and managed a home infusion pharmacy, followed by leadership roles in long-term care (LTC) pharmacy, including serving as Senior Vice President overseeing 21 pharmacies nationwide. Steve later founded and ran his own LTC pharmacy for 14 years before moving into the specialty pharmacy space, and most recently, has spent the last eight years helping patients in retail pharmacy.

Steve is passionate about making a difference in people’s lives through personalized, compassionate care and practical pharmacy solutions.

Outside of work, Steve enjoys woodworking, gardening, playing golf, and collecting baseball cards. He’s a proud husband and father—both of his children are pursuing careers in classical music, a passion they share as a family.

Kristian Krempel: Strategic Advisor

Kristian Krempel, a decades long advocate for Veterans, is a highly experienced professional with over 25 years of expertise in the lifestyle, sports, and entertainment marketing sectors.

Kristian holds a seat on the U.S. SOCOM Commander’s Board of Mental Health and is actively involved in numerous Veteran charities and projects across the country. He has extensive experience in producing live TV award shows and films. Kristain’s works include The Blair Witch Project, Drop Zone Everest, Triple 7, Drop Zone Moab, Skyman, the Black Veil Southern Gothic anthology series and Fear of Rain.

Some of his other notable works include the Emmy, Billboard Music, American Music, Country Music Awards, Grammy Awards” and "Act of Valor" feature films.
